Nell Felts

Nell Felts, 83, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born in Little River, AR on February 6, 1933 to the late Joe D. and Bergie Clark. She married John Ellis Felts in 1951, who preceded her in death in 2001. Nell and John worked together for many years. When they were not working, they loved camping and fishing, watching Razorback ballgames on TV, and family get-togethers and holidays, for which Nell enjoyed cooking way too much delicious food for everyone. They rarely missed a sporting or school event for their four children. Their home always had an open door to neighborhood kids. In later years they were blessed with several grandchildren/great- grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Nell was preceded in death by her precious brother William “Buddy” Clark of Tularosa, NM. She leaves behind her loving children, John Allen Felts and wife Paulette of Walnut Shade, MO, Ron Felts of Jonesboro, Laura D’Arcangelis and husband Art of Liverpool, NY, Anita Carol Gallion and husband Dale of Paragould, grandchildren Michael Felts, Kenny Felts, Stephen Felts, Zach Felts, Natalie Felts, Daniel D’Arcangelis, Thomas D’Arcangelis, Julia D’Arcangelis, Sophia D’Arcangelis, Dalton Gallion, and Hannah Gallion, and her adoring sister Bettye Jo Thrash and husband Lloyd of Hot Springs Village, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro. A graveside service will be at Forrest Park Cemetery Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 10:00am in Forrest City.
