Nathan Weaver

Nathan Weaver, 81, of Alicia, passed away July 14 th 2020. He was born July 30 th , 1938, to Ray and Bess Burchfield.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and half-brother.

Nathan lived in Alicia since 1973, where he was a member of Faith Tabernacle in Hoxie. When he was younger, you could always find him at a local fishing spot or hunting in the woods. A truck driver for many years, Nathan loved any chance he could get to talk to people. He was a devout husband who cared for his wife until her passing.

Nathan is survived by his sons, Gregory Weaver, Randy Weaver, and Danny Weaver; step-sons Jerry (Kathy) Burchfield and James Burchfield; step-daughters Karen Weaver, Janet Holecome, and Judy Vinson; brother Jim Weaver, sister Wanda Owens; and a host of grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9:00pm to 10:00am Saturday, July 18 2020 at Emerson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am at Stranger’s Home Cemetery with Bro. Craig Adams officiating.

We will be following the CDC and Arkansas Department of Health guidelines. A face mask will be required upon entering the building and social distancing will be enforced.
