Nathan “Brad” Edgar, 52, of Jonesboro passed from this life Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born January 30, 1966 in Jonesboro.
Brad has lived in the Jonesboro area nearly all of his life and was a member of First United Methodist Church. He earned his PHD in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Kansas and was a professor at Arkansas State University.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Cleo and Rebecca Edgar; Guy and Shirley Davis; Dorothy Wilson; and step-father, Ed Wilson.
Brad is survived by his wife, Deanna, of the home; daughter, Evelyn Edgar; parents, Delores Wilson of Jonesboro and Nathan (Lea) Edgar of Lafe; brothers, Jim Cothren of Lafe, Tony (Denise) Wilson of Maumelle, Jeff (Dana) Edgar of Jonesboro, Chris (Paulina) Wilson of Detroit, MI, and Jeremy (Brittany) Edgar of Paragould; sisters, Judy Dearin of Paragould, Cyndi (Wes) Williams of Jonesboro and a host of nieces and nephews.
