Natalie Coggin Gilliam

Natalie Jo Coggin Gilliam, 43 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, June 04, 2023. She
was born to Kirby Joe Coggin and Carolyn Sue Brooks Coggin on April 16, 1980 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step father, James Raymond, maternal grandparents
James Henry Brooks and Ernestine Louise Dance Brooks, paternal grandparents, Kirby Coggin and Bonnie
Chaplain Coggin, beloved uncles Bobby Thomas Brooks, Charles Edward Brooks, and Robert Ossie Pickle.

Natalie is a member of the Community of Christ since she was 11 years old. She loved being a mom to
her three boys and family meant the world to her. She loved being outdoors. She loved animals. She
loved people of all kind. Even though she might be down on her luck she never failed to help another if
they were down on theirs.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Lee Gilliam of Jonesboro, Arkansas, children Austin Barker
(fiancé Lauren Hopkins), Kanyon Barker, and Dakota Barker of Joneboro, Arkansas, step daughter
Hannah Hardin (Shane), step grandchildren Mati, Renee, Ian of Bono, Arkansas, step brothers Lance and
Gregg Raymond of California, two longtime close friends Cindy Sparkman and Mandi Whitworth
Cunningham, Aunt Joyce Brooks Nash “Mom” (Gerald) of Batesville, Arkansas, Aunt Lois Jean Davis
Brooks of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Uncle Gene Brooks (Phyllis) of Jonesboro, many beloved cousins
two of which Natalie liked to call her “brothers” Bobby E. Pickle of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Eric Joe
Pickle of Hardy, Arkansas. She also leaves behind her beloved emotional support dog “Tiny”

A memorial service will be held at the Community of Christ mission church “Kids Bible Club Church” 108
W. Woodrow St. Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401 on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 2:00 P. M
