Nadine Harlan

Nadine Harlan, 97, of Lake City, died Monday September 22, 2014 at the NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born in the Greenfield Community on September 23, 1916 to the late Elzie and Mary Moss Houston. She had lived in Lake City for 3 years, moving there from the Jonesboro and Trumann area. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Doak Harlan and 3 sisters.

Survived by her 3 sons; Robert Harlan (Patricia), Joe Harlan all of Jonesboro and John Harlan of Memphis, Tennessee.

5 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday September 25, 2014 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Tad Rogers officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorials be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 800 Marshall St, Little Rock, AR 72202.
