Nadean Lee

Nadean Lee, 91, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Sunday, April 7, 2019. She was born to the late Albert and Mae Crockett on June 13, 1927 in Corning. Nadean received her Bachelor of Science from Arkansas State University and her Masters in Library Science from Peabody University-Nashville. She was a member of First Baptist Church and served as the church librarian. Nadean was also a member of Business and Professional women and the Arkansas Library Association. She retired from Arkansas State University after working for 25 years as the Librarian and the Library Sciences teacher. Nadean loved animals, gardening, and crafting. Nadean is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mae Crockett.

Nadean is survived by her sons, Benton Ray Lee (Diane) and Michael David Lee (Tina) both of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Adam Lee, Carissa Edgar, Ryan Lee, Jennifer Lee Truelove, and Britny Hjorungdal; great grandchildren, Allie Grace Lee, Kaidyn Truelove, Harlynn Robertson, Madilynn Truelove, Kamdyn Lee, Keerstin Edgar, and London Lee.

The visitation will be held from 1:00 t0 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at Emerson Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home with Ross Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery in Paragould.
