Myrtle Bufford, 72, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, formerly of Jonesboro died Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at her home. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro and had worked in the nursery department from 1978 until 2000.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Parker W. Bufford; her parents, Barry & Mary Odom, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Grandchildren, Lonna Bufford, Little Rock, Arkansas, Leah Bufford & Jacob Bufford, Gassville, Holly Bufford, Franklin, Tennessee, Daniel Williams, Jonesboro, Lori Williams, Mountain Home, Janna & Chance Simpson, Paragould, Arkansas,

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 23, 2005, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jerry Muckensturm officiating and burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Doug Trenthem, George DuBoise, Steve Hendrix, Tommy Lindsey, Thomas Howard, Jimmy Banks, Chance Simpson, and Josh Boaz. Honorary pallbearers are George Redwine, Vance Null Sr., William Moss Jr., and Al McCullar.
