Myrl Lorene Hatch

December 12, 1919 — October 1, 2008

Myrl Lorene Hatch 88, of Trumann passed away Wednesday October 1, 2008 at her home.

She was born in Asherville, Kansas and lived in Trumann for 10 months, moving there from Jonesboro. She worked at the Nema Tuggle Elementary School from 1952-1960, then did maid work until she retired. She loved to embroidery, fishing and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Lee and Anna Laura Farra Highfill, one son, Farrell Wayne Hatch, one daughter, Florence (Flo) Lindsey, three brothers, Ira , Perry and Leamon Highfill and one sister Elmira Harley.

Survived by one daughter, Laura Veteto and husband Bobby of Trumann, one brother Freeman Highfill of Jonesboro and one sister Oletha Highfill of Baton Rouge, La.

Two grandchildren; Ann Adams and Mary Owens and husband Jerry.
Four great grandchildren, Lucas Owens, Brook and Brittni Brown and Chastity George.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 4, 2008 at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Reverend Larry Tribble officiating. Burial will be in Pine Log Cemetery, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Active pallbearers will be Robert Highfill, Danny Braswell, Cody Cox, Don Lindsey, Jordan McChristian and Chuck Shearer.

Visitation will be from 5-8:00 P.M. Friday October 3, 2008 at Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
