Murray Allyn Brean

Murray Allen Brean, 75, of Tyronza passed away Thursday, February 19, 2019 at his home. He was born March 24, 1943 in Memphis to the late Murray Lloyd “Buddy” and Bette Branon Brean. Murray was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marked Tree. He retired from the railroad after nearly 50 years of working. Murray enjoyed old cars, riding motorcycles, driving his tractor and doing yard work.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Tucker Allen Ward and sister, Jeanie.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Mary Sue Brean of the home; 5 daughters: Lori (Ronny) Blackburn of Olive Branch, Angie (David) Brewer of West Memphis, Sara Brean of Memphis, Christy (Delbert) Busby of Tyronza, Ashley (Bryon) Ward of Jonesboro and 3 grandchildren, Malley Ward of Jonesboro, Jake Collier of Marked Tree and Jesse Blackburn of Olive Branch.

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm in First United Methodist Church with Bro. Robert D. Partlow and Bro. Eldron Gill officiating. Burial will follow at Tyronza Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-7:00 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
