Muriel Dean Stokes

Muriel Dean Stokes, 92, of Jonesboro formerly of Wynne passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born February 15, 1930 in Mena to the late Chuck and Georgia Robson. Muriel loved taking care of children and worked for The Learning Center in Jonesboro for several years. She enjoyed cooking, clocks and spending time with family. Muriel always wanted to be a cowgirl.

In addition to her parents, Muriel was preceded in death by her 1 ^st husband Kirby Brown; son, Bryson Lee Brown; grandson, Joshua Brown; sister, Juanita Harris and brother, Larry Robson.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Stokes of the home; 2 sons, Terry (Donna) Stokes of Oakland, Tennessee, Bryon (Carol) Brown of Gulf Port, Mississippi; 4 daughters: Teresa (Gene) Holmes of Fair Oaks, Tammy (David) Roberts of Ola, Arkansas, Denise (Alan) Burnett of Rogers, Karla (Jim) Brown of Nashville, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be Monday, November 21, 2022 at 12:30 pm in Pinecrest Cemetery in Mena Arkansas.
