Mrs. Ollie Whitlock, 81, of Bay, Arkansas, died Sunday afternoon, July 8, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Born in Bay, Mrs. Whitlock lived 5 years in Paragould before moving to rural Bay where she lived most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Freer Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Cecil Whitlock, 1 daughter: Zella Mae Whitlock, 1 half brother and 3 half sisters.

Survivors include: 4 Daughters: Porshey Faulk of Lake City, Sarah Winningham of Harrisburg, and Linda Forbis, and Cindy Veteto, both of Jonesboro;

6 Sons: William R. Whitlock of Bay, Marion “Dee” Whitlock of Harrisburg, Clifford “Tip” Whitlock, and Carl Whitlock, both of Trumann, and Lelon Louis Whitlock, and Clifton “Pete” Whitlock, both of Jonesboro;

3 Sisters: Rachel Butler of Rose Bud, Betty Dickens of Trumann, Zinna Mae Ridge of Smithville;

1 Half Sister: Eddie Kinman of Heber Springs;

20 Grandchildren, and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 with Rev. Leon Minick officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include: Ozzie Christopher Louis Whitlock, Eric Whitlock, Jesse Hager, Richard Kinman, Shannon East, Levi Kinman, Darrell Veteto, and Brian Meier.

Honorary pallbearers include: Greg Whitlock who is stationed in Iraq with the 875th Engineering Battalion, Willie Whitlock, Elton Broughton, Danny Broughton, Jerry “Bud” Kinman, Dorothy Utley, and the nurses and staff at Craighead County Nursing Center.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, 5-8, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
