Mittie Lou Stallings

Mittie Lou Stallings, 83, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at NEA Baptist Hospital.  She was the owner/operator of the Country Kitchen.  She had also worked as a cook at Nestle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Stallings; sons, Terry McDonald, Billy McDonald; and parents, Charley and Carrie Tinsley;

She is survived by her daughters, Amy Barber and husband, Dale; Lynn Brandon and husband, Gregg; Brenda Brooks and husband Lloyd, all of Jonesboro; grandchildren; Hillary Brozak, Sara Downs, Sasha O’Rourke, Ricky O’Rourke, Kyle McDonald, Coalt McDonald, and Brittney Johnson.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Terry Joe Kee, officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Pallbearers are Drew Scurlock, Jonathan VanHorn, Tony McDonald, Kyle McDonald, Maron Lesley, Coalt McDonald, and Jeff McDonald.  Visitation will be Wednesday night from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home. A special thanks for the love and kindness given Mittie by her cousin, Rita West.
