Mildred (Milly) Troup Bishop Krutz, 95, of Berryville, went home to be with Jesus on August 18, 2026. She was born to Rhinard and Vera Troup on March 23, 1931, in Harbor Springs, MI. She grew up there and moved to Jonesboro, AR, in 1950, where she married and raised her family. Milly was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Walnut St. Baptist Church for many years. She attended Arkansas State University, earned an RN degree, and later obtained certification in psychiatric and mental health care. Milly worked in the psychiatric field for 30 years, first at George W. Jackson Mental Health Center in Little Rock, then returned to Jonesboro to work at Greenleaf Behavioral Center. She completed her career at Northeast Arkansas Area Agency on Aging in Jonesboro, AR. Milly loved her work, especially with the senior centers and volunteer work. She especially loved singing with the Joybells (women’s group) and the St. Bernard’s Senior Center Choir for many years. Milly also enjoyed reading and embroidery, making several baby crib quilts for her grand- and great-grandchildren.

Milly is survived by her husband of 47 years, John R. Krutz; her son, Robert A. (Tony) Bishop, and his wife, Julie, of Ocean Springs, MS; her daughters, Patti Bishop Hartline and her husband, George, of Eureka Springs, AR; her stepdaughters, Renee Obregon and her husband, Amauro, of Springfield, MO; Kim Russell and her husband, Mike, of Hot Springs Village, AR; and Yvette Clark of Dallas, TX; her sister, Darlene Park, of Michigan; and her brothers, Richard Troup of Florida and Rhinard Troup of Tennessee. Milly is also survived by her grandchildren, James Wainscott and his wife, Eliza; Shelby Hartline Peters; Thomas Bishop; Sydney Davis; Billy Greene; Barbie Ray and her husband, Curtis; Josh Evans; Daniel Perrygin; Pete Perrygin; and Travis Masterson; her great-grandchildren, Kayleigh; Piper; Hannah; Aiden; Elizabeth and her husband, Carson; Jackson; William; John Daniel; and Ryan; her great-great-grandchildren, Zuri; Maryn; and Ezra; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
