Mildred Evelyn Taber Roedel, 85 of Jonesboro died Tuesday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.
She was born June 26, 1920, at Herman, a daughter of the late J.H. and Ethel Taber.
All of her life she had a hard working attitude and the love of her family and friends. One of her proudest accomplishments was being a graduate from Bay High School. She was a religious and loving woman who loved to help others in any way possible. She was liked by all and loved by many. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Pat McGill and husband Hank of Victor Ville, California, and Elaine Bradley and husband, Larry of Jonesboro; 3 Sisters, Lucille Lawson, Virgie Crumby, and Helen Bland. 1 Brother: Donald Tabor. 2 Granddaughters, Melissa Albert of Bono, and Erin Bradley of Jonesboro. 2 Grandsons, Don Cox Jr. of Jonesboro, and Mitchell Cox of Apple Valley California. She is also survived by 3 Great Grandchildren, Donnie Cox, Sarah Albert, and Kourtney Cox.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Roedel, 2 sisters, Wilma Taber and Glenda Travis, and 1 Brother Lloyd Taber.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday at the Emerson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rex Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Log Cemetery, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Emerson Funeral Home
Active Pallbearers will be Jason Albert, Roy Drum, Sherman Drum, Kenny Householder, David Householder, and Robert Gatewood
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Heath, H.G. Render, Bill Boling and Mick Boland
