Mike F. Walker

Mike F. Walker, 71, of Jonesboro formerly of New Braunfels, Texas passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House after battling adenoid cystic carcinoma brain cancer for 21 years. He was born July 29, 1949 in Long Beach, California to the late H.W. Walker and Wanda Barnhill Smith. Mike was of the Catholic Faith. He worked most of his life managing Wal-Mart and Home Depot. Mike loved music and played with several different people in the Jonesboro, Hardy and Little Rock areas. He was a philanthropist and a wine connoisseur. Mike enjoyed traveling, southwest art and pottery. He also loved animals and was very involved in dog and cat rescues.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Walker.

Survivors include his sister, Seena Walker of Cherokee Village and brother, C.A. “Beaver” (Pam) Walker of Louisville, Kentucky.

Services will be announced at a later date.

Burial will be private.
