Mike Timms

January 20, 1952 — December 15, 2022

Mike Timms, 70, of Bono, was a lifetime resident of Northeast Arkansas, died December 15, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center.  He was born in Monette on January 20, 1952, to Nolan and Dorothy Timms.  Mike retired from Hytrol Conveyor Company as a Quality Facilitator having worked for over 43 years.  He served his country in the US Army National Guard during the Vietnam War.  He was of the Baptist belief.  Mike was active with Kids Life and coached baseball for many years.  His grandchildren called him Papaw and he was very active in the booster organizations and supporter of his grands.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother.

Survivors include his loving companion, Donna K. Jackson; sons, Brad Timms and wife, Ashley; Brett Timms and wife Jenny all of Bono; brother, Gary Timms of Lake City; grandchildren, Braxton, Brylee, Hunter, Dakota, Knylee Jo and Karsyn.  A special thanks go to Chad Timms for his grateful assistance and care he has provided.

Funeral services will be 5:00 Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Boyce Bonham officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Honorary pallbearers will be fellow employees, retirees and members of the Hytrol family.  Visitation will be from 4:00 until service time on Wednesday.  Burial will be private.  To sign an online guestbook, go to emersonfuneralhome.com.
