Mike Cobb, 67, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, February 12, 2017, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He had lived in Jonesboro most of his life and was of the Baptist belief. He was a life-time member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Mike worked in the heating and air business in the Jonesboro area for many years. He also, worked with his dad as a dental lab technician. Mike loved gardening and spending time with family and friends at Lake Norfork. He was preceded in death by his dad, Bill Cobb; a nephew, Corey Rinaldi and a brother-in-law, Lloyal Shaw.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Candace “Candy” of the home; mother, Elise Cobb of Jonesboro; sisters, Mary Dowden (Dan) of Manchester, Tennessee; Debbie Shaw; Kay Rinaldi (Mike) of Jonesboro; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 Friday, February 17, 2017 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with his uncle, Jim Jones, from San Angelo, Texas officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery with Mike Roy, Henry Cooksey, Steve Treadway, Mike Rinaldi, Roger Foust, Brian Mashburn, Butch Rupard and Henry Jones serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5-7 Thursday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
