Michael Angelo Watson

Michael Angelo Watson, 65, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Sunday, August 17, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born September 29, 1959, in Jonesboro, to the late J.T. and Veda Watson.

Michael enjoyed the simple pleasures of country living. He loved hunting, riding his four-wheeler, working on the farm, tending to his garden, and raising cows. More than anything, he cherished spending time with his family and friends, especially playing with his grandson, Hudson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Chad Haggenmacher.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Karen Haggenmacher Watson; his daughter, Crystal Turner and her husband Matthew of Jonesboro; his brother, Anthony Watson; his sister, Debbie Byrd and her husband Ron; and his grandson, Hudson Turner.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 9:00–10:00 a.m., at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m., with burial afterwards at Pine Log Cemetery.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
