Michael Shawn Pearson

Michael Shawn Pearson, 42, departed this life on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Born on March 31, 1982, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Michael was the beloved son of Mike and Barbara Pearson.

A lifelong resident of Jonesboro, Michael was a member of Fisher Street United Methodist Church. He cherished the simple joys of life, such as riding horses on the family ranch and spending time with his beloved pet cat. Michael had a passion for graphic designing and was a self-taught computer programmer.

Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Mildred Pearson, and his maternal grandfather, Loyce H. Boone.

He is survived by his loving parents, Mike and Barbara Pearson; his maternal grandmother, Reba Boone; and his brother, Matthew Pearson, all of Jonesboro. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 1:00pm till the start of the funeral service at 2:00pm with Dr. Charles R. Coleman officiating. Burial will follow the service at Oaklawn Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers will be Jay Boone, John Del Hollis, Rodolfo Andrade, Edwin Andrade, Barry Ray, Mitch Carter, Ronnie Ewing, and Tammy Ewing.
