Michael New

Michael New, 47, of Jonesboro died Friday, June 16, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He had lived in Jonesboro for the past twenty-eight years and was a member of First Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild, Kaylee Michelle New.

He is survived by his wife Gail New, of the home; two daughters, Amanda Painter and Tonya New, both of Jonesboro; brothers, Jerry New, Memphis, Tennessee and John New, Byhalia, Mississippi; one sister Ruth Ann Granger, Jonesboro; two grandchildren..

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 18, 2007 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Frankie Hardwick officiating and burial at Nettleton Cemetery with Emerson Funeral in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Jeremy Mangrum, Richard Mangrum, Alex Barton, Robert Painter, Michael Barton, and Charles Mangrum.

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Monday, at Emerson’s.
