Michael "Mike" Bowman

Michael “Mike” Bowman, 51 of Jonesboro, died Monday, December 23, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. As a life-long resident of Jonesboro, he was also a loving father, and an avid hunter. Mike worked for Delta Tool Box for 33 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Ray Bowman.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Janet Bowman, of the home; son, Kyle Bowman of the home; daughters, Savanna Mattes (Nick); Koressa Avant (Brandon); mother, Jackie Bowman; sisters, Deniseia Mayhan; Dianna Long; Michelle Brown all of Jonesboro; and one grandchild Jared Ray Bowman.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Rutherford Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 until service time in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
