Michael "Lynn" Roberts

Michael “Lynn” Roberts, 53, of Jonesboro entered his heavenly home on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on August 21, 1961 in West Memphis, Arkansas to Andrew and Lula Roberts. Lynn graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management in 1984. He was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. Lynn loved spending time with his family, music, gardening, and traveling.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Andrew and Lula Roberts.

Lynn is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Audrey Roberts of the home; son, Michael Roberts Jr; daughter, Lauren Roberts; brother, Butch Roberts (Katherine); loving sisters in law, Cindy Turner and Frances Bolster; sister, Pat Scarbrough; and his 2 beloved cats, Salem and Oreo.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Walnut Street Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Parker and Rev. Glen Putman officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Tyronza Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Chris Tucker, Jim Corter, Trey Stafford, Danny Cochran, Mark McDaniel, and Bill Dunham. The honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ronald Blachley, Dr. Robert Martin II, Dr. Scott Dorroh, Robert Turner, and Tyler Turner.

The visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Emerson Funeral Home.
