Michael Stephen Jackson

Michael Stephen Jackson, 73, of Lake City, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at his residence. Michael was born in Caruthersville, Missouri on August 4, 1945, to the late Jesse and Mary Welch Jackson. Michael lived in Lake City most of his life, was a factory worker for Thomas-Betts and of the Baptist belief.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Terry and J.L. Jackson. Sisters, Louise Bass, Betty Presson, Roselyn Wilkins, and Mary Presson.

Survived by his wife, Connie Jackson of the home.

Sons, Gregory Jackson (Theresa) of Bay, Michael Jackson (Amy) of Trumann and Anthony Jackson (Kristy) of Lunsford.

Brother, Donald Jackson of Jonesboro.

Brother in law, Jerry Woods of Chicago, Illinois.

Sister, Judy Rodgers of Lunsford.

Sister in law, Deanna Jackson of Bay.

Grandchildren, Amanda Spencer, Anna Jackson, Kristy Seguna, Beth Moreno, MJ Jackson, and Anthony Jackson Jr.

Great grandchildren, Emily Jackson, Lily Spencer, Madison Moreno, Hunter Spencer, Cooper Carroll, Tucker Jackson, and Gavin Seguna.

Also 3 step- grandchildren and 6 step- great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Bay, with Bro. Danny Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-2:00 on Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Bay.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Jackson, Gregory Jackson, Michael Jackson, Donald Pedersen, Nick Moreno, Anthony Jackson Jr. and MJ Jackson.
