Michael Berlyss Holifield

Michael Berlyss Holifield, 62, of Jonesboro passed from this life Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born to the late Berlyss and Imogene Holifield on January 8, 1956 in Jonesboro.

Michael has resided in Jonesboro since 2007 after spending a vast majority of his life in Piggott and a brief time in Searcy. While living in Jonesboro Michael was a faithful member of the Awaken Church and was a huge supporter of Upper Crust Pizza Company.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Berlyss and Imogene Holifield.

Michael is survived by his wife, Patsy of 36 years; son: Chad (Stephanie) Holifield of Jonesboro; two daughters: Jacqueline (Joseph) Jones of Jonesboro and Heather Holifield of Little Rock; sister: Anita Gore of Wappapello, Missouri; grandchildren: Hannah Headlee, Hayden Headlee, Tyler Holifield, Chloe Jones, and Samuel Jones; and his sweet Jesse.

A visitation will be from 12 – 1 pm Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow the visitation beginning at 1 pm Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home with Chad Gonzales officiating.

Burial will be private.

After services are completed family and friends are welcome to gather at Upper Crust Pizza Company at 3120 Shelby Dr. in Jonesboro.
