Michael Grover Gent

Michael Grover Gent, 66 of Jonesboro, passed from this life Thursday, July 6, 2917 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1950 to Grover Gent, Jr. and Leona Catenacci Gent. Michael loved his family and was an avid gun collector who also loved riding motorcycles. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was of the Baptist faith.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Toni Gent of the home; 1 daughter, Krystal Gent Henson of Trumann; brother, Scott (Tonya) Gent of St. Louis and sister, Patricia Dorton of Jonesboro.

Visitation will be 1:30-3:30 pm, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Service will start at 3:30 pm with Gary Gipson officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carl Puckett, Freddy Prince, Jr, Freddie Prince III, Ezra Puckett, Tim Kunath and Alex Huffman.
