Michael Bruce Edmiston

Michael Bruce Edmiston, age 63, of Jonesboro died at his residence Monday. He was born in East St. Louis, Illinois and spent most of his life in Jonesboro. Michael loved spending time with his grandbabies. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and playing on the computer.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Elsworth Edmiston, his first wife, Linda Sue Edmiston; and step-dad Marvin Cleamer.

Survivors include his wife, Brigitte Edmiston of the home; daughters, Linda Sue (Andrew) Reeves of Lake City, Mandy (Stephen) Long of Jonesboro; son, Charlie Wright of Jonesboro; brother, Ronnie Edmiston of Hawaii; sisters, Marline Zelt of Jonesboro; and Linda Varner of East St. Louis , Illinois; 3 grandchildren, Courtney Huffman, Devin Huffman, Jacob Reeves.

A graveside service will be Friday, August 30, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers include: Adam Carty, Doyle Lee, Andrew Reeves, Charles Wright, Jr., Don Wisdom, and David Robertson.

There will be no visitation.
