Michael E. "Buddy" Warren

Michael E. “Buddy” Warren, 59, of Bay, died Saturday morning at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Born in Jonesboro, Buddy lived all of his life in Bay. He was a 1970 graduate of Bay High School and owned and operated an over-the-road truck until he became disabled.

Buddy was a member of the Bay United Methodist Church and enjoyed spectator sports. He was a school bus driver for High Schools for a number of years and was preceded in death by his father, Earl “Bud” Warren.

Survivors include his mother, Leola Warren of the home;

2 brothers and sisters-in-law: Ricky and Karen Warren of Bay, and Wallace and Judy Warren of Marion;

1 sister, Vickie Davison of Bay;

Several nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 in Bay United Methodist Church with Rev. Heath Williams officiating. Burial will be private.

A fellowship with family and friends will be held following the service in the church fellowship hall. Everyone is welcome.
