Michael Dewayne Robinson

Michael Dewayne Robinson, 45. of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009, at his home of natural causes.

He was born July 15, 1963, to Gene and Henrietta Robinson and was a lifetime Jonesboro resident. Michael was a 1982 graduate of Jonesboro High School and attended Delta Technical School.

Michael was preceded in death by a brother William (Bill) Robinson, a niece Brittney McCaughan Graham, grandparents Claude and Jewell Hawkins and Mrs. Dovea Leach.

Survivors include one son, Jase Gunner Robinson, 1 daughter, McCartney Lynn Robinson, 1 brother, Steven Robinson, 1 sister, Debra LeBlanc, and his parents Gene and Henrietta Robinson, all of Jonesboro. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Don Vuncannon officiating. Burial will follow in Strawfloor Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Greg Lackey, Charles Lackey, Shane Graham, Tony Kaffka, Ed Harbin, and Phillip Clark.

Visitation will be held Friday afternoon from 12:30 until service time in Emerson Chapel.
