In Loving Memory of Michael David Allen

July 6, 1967 – August 20, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael David Allen, age 59, who departed this life on August 20, 2026 at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Michael was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. He cherished his family and loved spending time with them, playing card games, watching sports, and fishing.

He leaves to cherish his memory his eight children: Mychol Anderson, Anndraka Holloway, Ronnie Allen, Shandelle Hathaway, Shai Hathaway, Timothy Williams, Jerick Howell and Johanna Anderson; 22 grandchildren; siblings: Valerie Blackmon, Henry Miller, and Ronnie Allen; 10 nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jewel Miller; mother, Ruthie Allen; grandmother, Teresa Ore; niece, Angelique Allen; cousin, Quentin Miller; Granddaughter, Marshae Marshall; Rochelle Anderson; former wife, Leslie Hathaway; and other loved ones.

Michael’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His life was a blessing, and his legacy will continue through his family.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Rest peacefully, Michael. Your race is finished, but your love and legacy live on.

A celebration of life will be held at True Believers Missionary Baptist Church, 510 N C St. Poplar Bluff, MO 63901. The date and time will be announced soon.
