Meredith Ellen Sparks

Meredith Ellen Sparks, 70, died Wednesday November 7, 2007 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas.

She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and lived in Cave City for one and half years, moving there from Paragould, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.

She was preceded in death by her parents Earnest Wood and Inez Powers Wood, one son: Robert Bell and one brother: Gerald Wood.

Survived by two sons: Orville Bell of Evening Shade, Arkansas,
Joseph Bell of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Three daughters: Dorine Davis and son-in-law Frank of Evening Shade, Arkansas.
Carlene of Michigan.
Inez Coon and son-in-law Daniel of Michigan.

One brother: Robert Wood of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Two sisters: Dorothy and Inez both of Michigan.

Sister-in-law: Doris Wood of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Seven Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday November 10, 2007 at Pine Log Cemetery, with Reverend. Andy Price officiating. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Visitation will be from 11:30-1:30 P.M. Saturday November 10, 2007 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Active pallbearers will be Doug Glass, Wayne Roland, Jeff Petree, Frank Davis, Daniel Winford and Phillip Whitlow.
