Melba B Verser

Melba B. Verser, 90, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Melba was born in Batesville, Arkansas on December 26, 1927, to the late Allie and Edna Brewer Barrett. Melba lived in Jonesboro for 20 years, moving here from Newport. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist belief.

In addition to her parents, Melba was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond and Lowell Barrett, sisters, Allene Vaughn, and Glendene Benn.

Survived by her daughters, Linda Beasley, and Nancy Bradshaw both of Jonesboro.

4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A private family memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Emerson Funeral Home. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

There will be no visitation.
