Melba Reeves, 85, of Jonesboro passed from this life Monday, June 15, 2020 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born December 3, 1934 in Redford Missouri to the late Clarence and Rebecca Barton. Melba loved her family, the Hallmark Channel and her sweets.
In addition to her parents, Melba was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Reeves; son, Danny Reeves; 2 grandsons, Christopher Reeves and Brian Reeves; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Survivors include her 2 sons, Ronnie (Tammy) Reeves of Jonesboro, Donny (Sheila) Reeves of Forrest City; 3 daughters, Patricia (Brian) Webb of Gulfport, Mississippi, Glenda Silsbee of Jonesboro, Penny (Travis) Guntharp of Paragould; sister, Opalene (Leroy) Bullock of Ellington, Missouri; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Don Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
