Mearl Henry, 74 of Jonesboro died Friday, January 17, 2006 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Black Oak Arkansas and was preceded in death by his parents, I. P. and Cora Henry, 3 sisters, Alvis Blalock, Dail Butts, and Rosetta Dailey; 4 Brothers, Ed L. Henry, Barney Henry, Caul Henry and Burnis Henry.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 20, 2006, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. David Gibson, Bro. John Mark Wilson, and Bro. Tim Bassing with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements and burial to follow at Monette Cemetery. Nephews to serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Dickie Pace, Neil Abel, Harold Thomas, Eric Pollard, Dr. Jack Jones, Rufus Stidman, Don Hinson, David Holbrook, Dave Russell, Robert Whitaker, Elmer Hamilton, Max Nienstadt, Harris Gilliam, Chub Qualls, J. D. Coleman, Ken Young and the Men from the Apple Hill Church of Christ.
