May Lovelace Keefe

May Lovelace Keefe, 96, of Jonesboro passed away on February 26, 2022. She was born April 10, 1925 in Blytheville to Archie and Onie Lovelace. She served her country in the United States Navy, in the WAVES, and traveled the world with her husband John “Jack” Keefe who served in the United States Air Force.

She owned and operated Austin Trophy House in Austin, Texas.

In addition to her parents and husband, May is preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Perkins, Yvonne Zakrewski, Pearl Lewis, Louise Moore, Mary Lou Knipple; and brother, Roy Lovelace. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Sue McGee and Shirley White; and brother, Wayne Lovelace.

She also leaves behind her “angel”, Francois who she loved dearly.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Assumption Cemetery in Austin, Texas.
