Maxine Cheek

Maxine Cheek, 89, of Jonesboro died Thursday January 24, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
She was born and had lived her lifetime in Jonesboro. She was a member of the Friendly Hope Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alris Othan Cheek, her parents, John Baugh and Ella Holt, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survived by her daughters, Becky Bishop (Paul) and Cathy Martin both of Jonesboro.

1 granddaughter, Robyn Russell (Matt) of Jonesboro.

Also 2 very special ladies, Christy and Holly Stevens whom she loved as much as her own granddaughter. 5 great grandchildren, Brianna Russell, Dalton Russell, Rena Knowles, Jacob Knowles and Jaedyn Russell.

A graveside service will be at 3:00 P.M. Monday January 28, at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev, Wynndel King officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 1:30 -2:30 Monday January 28, at Emerson Funeral Home.
