Max Ray Nichols

Max Nichols, 73, died Tuesday at St. Bernards.

He is survived by one son, Steven Nichols of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Kimberly Lynn Nichols, of Maumelle, Arkansas; four brothers, Jimmy, Jerry, Ronnie, and Landa Nichols, all of Jonesboro; four sisters, Debbie Taylor, and Sarah Roedel, both of Jonesboro, Donna McClung of Mtn. View, AR, and Tonya Winningham of Trumann; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raudon and Iva Lee Barrett Nichols, and one son, Kerry Ray Nichols.

Memorial services will be Friday at 6 p.m. at Needham Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5-6 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
