Max Edward Taylor, 75, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday in Arlington Cove Healthcare Center in Trumann where he had resided for the past few months.
Max was born in Jonesboro and lived most of his life here. He was a factory welder and had retired from Hytrol Conveyor Company in Jonesboro. Max was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Taylor; parents: George W. and Alma Leolia Lindley Taylor; and by one son, Max Darren Taylor, and one grandson, Joel Edward Taylor.
Survivors include a daughter, Sonya White of Jonesboro;
a sister and brother-in-law: Donna and Freddie DiVittorio of Jonesboro;
a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Brenda Taylor of Jonesboro;
4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dale Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery near Bono. His family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
