Maudie Rogers, 89 of Jonesboro, died Wednesday September 29, at N.E.A. Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.
She was born in Black Rock, and had lived in Jonesboro for 28 years, moving here from Royal Oak, Michigan. She was a member of the Valley View Church of Christ and a home maker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Aaron Rogers, parents Thomas and Edith Beeler Robertson, six brothers, Vernon, Virgil, Shelby, Sherman, Bernie and Levelle Robertson.
Survived by one son, Bob Rogers (Kay) of Cabot, Arkansas.
One daughter, Barbara Jaress (Allan) of Jonesboro.
Four sisters; Evelyn Flippo of Powhatan, Nettie Oldham of Jonesboro, Betty Jean McCarthy of Ohio and Dora McAlister of Jonesboro.
Four Grandchildren; Debbie Smith, David Jaress, Todd Rogers and Tami Lewis. Nine great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 3:00 P.M. Monday October 4, at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, with Stanley Rogers officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
There will be no visitation.
