Matt Puryear

Matt Puryear, 42, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, October 7, 2020.  He was a life-long resident of Jonesboro.  He was of the Christian belief and attended the Salvation Ministries Church.  Matt was a loving husband, dad and son.  He was an avid fisherman and was an accomplished guitarist and vocalist.  He had an incredible mechanical ability and could fix anything. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Hardin.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Donna Puryear, of the home; sons, Joseph Kremers (Whitney) of Jonesboro; Matthew “Jackson” Puryear, of the home; mother, Ouida Hardin of Jonesboro; sister, Alison Puryear of Jonesboro; nephew, Roger Humble and uncle, Dr. Scott Puryear (Tommie).

A graveside memorial service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Pine Log Cemetery with Derrick Followell officiating.  All other services will be private.
