Matt Patteson

Matthew C. Patteson, Jr., beloved son of Patricia and Carter Patteson, died July 22, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was 56 years old.

Matt was born and raised in Jonesboro. He attended Blessed Sacrament School and Douglas MacArthur Junior High. He graduated from Woodberry Forest School in Orange, Virginia, and he received a BA in History from Tulane University where he was a member and pledge president of Delta Kappa Epsilon. Matt was also a graduate of the University of Arkansas Law School, where he served as Research Editor of the Arkansas Law Review. He was licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Texas.

Matt was preceded in death by his loving mother Patricia Lykins Patteson and by his nephew Michael Boh.

He is survived by his devoted father Carter Patteson, his sister Ann Patteson Boh (Robert) of New Orleans, his niece Patricia Patteson Boh of Washington, DC, and his nephew Richard Carter Boh of New York City.

Visitation will be held at Emerson Funeral Home on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 11:00-1:00. Burial will be private.
