Matt Hudson

Matt Hudson, 35, of Paragould, died Wednesday evening. He loved hunting and fishing and was of the Presbyterian belief. Matt was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Mandy Hudson; his son, Mason Hudson of Paragould; his father, James Hudson, Jonesboro; his mother, Sally Baker, Cabot; brothers, Jay Hudson and his wife, Jill, and Robert Hudson, all of Jonesboro; his paternal grandmother, Van Hudson, and his nephew, Connor Hudson.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Michael Hudson; maternal grandparents, James & LaVeigh Baker, and his paternal grandfather, Lonnie Hudson.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Reverend Tommy Toombs officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Jay Hudson, Robert Hudson, Richard Johnston, Doug Walker, Todd Gray, and Michael Beasley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Manz, Paul Dugger, and Lee Jetton.

Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10:00 – 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
