Mathieu Martin Ii

Mathieu Martin II, 35, of Jonesboro went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital. Mathieu was born in Jonesboro on April 13, 1984 to Franklin and Suzanne Gidcomb Martin. Mathieu was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro, a student at The Learning Center Adult Program on AggieRoad and attended the Rock of NEA.

Mathieu was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Mary Warner, Joseph and Mary Martin and maternal grandparents, Barney and Veda Gidcomb.

Survived by his parents, Franklin and Suzanne Martin of Jonesboro.

Brother, Anthony Martin (Allison) of Jonesboro.

Sisters, Quincey Martin of Jonesboro and Cassaundra Mierke of Conway, Arkansas.

Nephews, Tony Martin, Hudson Martin and niece, Libbey Martin.

Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Anthony Martin, D.J. Rogers, Ancel Jines, Taylor Henninger, Justin Tittle, Arron Jackson and Blake Simpkins.
Honorary pallbearers will be students of The Learning Center, Matt Baggs, Jaclyn Gonzales and David (Preach) Jacobson.
