Mathew "Matt" Rutherford

Matthew “Matt” Rutherford, 33, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Lake City. He was born in Jonesboro on November 12, 1980 to Richard and Debbie Rutherford. Matt loved hunting, fishing, his little dog Roscoe, and spending time at the lake. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Alvin and Gladys Kinsall. Paternal grandparents: Hubert and Ann Rutherford. One cousin: Kirk Davis.

Matt is survived by his parents: Richard and Debbie Rutherford of Jonesboro. One brother: Scott Rutherford.

Funeral Service will be held at Emerson Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 with Ron Hatley officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with active pallbearers being: Michael Middlebrook, Brian Richardson, David Folson, Mikey Morrison, Randy Blagg, Jan Dungan, Blake Rutherford, Shannon Hall and Josh Andrews.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
