Mashack Carter

Mashack Carter, 87, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at NEA Baptist Hospital.  He had lived in Jonesboro for three years, moving here from Benton Harbor, Michigan. He was of the Baptist Belief.  He retired from Bosch Industries.  Things he enjoyed travelling and smoking a good cigar.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Millie Carter of the home; sons, Leroy Carter and wife, Danielle of Jonesboro; Calvin Carter of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Joseph Carter of New York City; daughters, Tonya Winfield of South Bend, Indiana; Sheila Carter of Kalamazoo; several grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10:00 Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with his son, Leroy Carter officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time.  Burial will be private.  To sign an online guestbook, go to emersonfuneralhome.com.
