Maryann Mccarty

MaryAnn McCarty, 65, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House surrounded by family. She was born in Jonesboro on January 2, 1950 to Samuel and Maxine O’Baugh. MaryAnn loved to read and was a hairdresser in Ft. Smith for 35 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Maxine O’Baugh; son, Michael McCarty, brothers, Terrance O’Baugh, Randy O’Baugh, and Sonny O’Baugh.

MaryAnn is survived by her daughter, Cindy Bell (Steve); brother, Mike O’Baugh; sister, Tosh Shewmaker; grandchildren, Drew McCarty, Samantha Bell, and Ryan Bell.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Emerson Funeral Home with Lance Lenards officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Butterfly House, P.O. Box 1132, Manilla, Arkansas 72442.
