Mary Magdaline Woodard

Mary Magdaline Woodard, 77, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, July 03, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born at Newport and lived her lifetime in Jonesboro. Mary was a 1957 Nettleton graduate. She was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for over 35 years and retired from Skilcare. Mary was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Woodard, Her father, Arter Caldwell, mother, Marie Caldwell and one sister, Wanda Lee Minick.

Survivors include her sons, Ricky Woodard (Sarah) of Houston, Texas; Chad Woodard (Debra Wright-Woodard); Danny Woodard (Peggy); Waylon Woodard (Lora) all of Jonesboro; sisters, Ethel Tate; Pauline Bell both of Bono; Auline Banter of Viola and Gladys Atwood of Batesville, Mississippi; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1:00 Monday, July 7, 2014 at Trinity Cemetery near Bono with Danny Jackson officiating and Emerson Funeral Home officiating. Visitation will from 10:00 until 11:00 Monday, July 7, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home. To sign an online guest book, go to emersonfuneralhome.com
