Mary Lea West

March 10, 1937 — October 3, 2019

Mary Lea West, 82, of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday October 3, 2019 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born March 10, 1937 in Fifty-Six to the late Lee and Clairsie Sullivan.

Mary has lived in Jonesboro for several years after moving from St. Louis and loved to garden but especially loved being with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Jack West; two sisters, Dorothy Bequette and Ann Parker and a grandson, Jacob West.

She is survived by her sons, Greg West of Jonesboro, Roger (Debbie) West of Oak Grove Heights, Bob West of Jonesboro, Van (Robin) West of Jasper and Jim (Karen) West of Jonesboro; daughter-in-law, Kathryn West of Jonesboro; sisters, Angie Helton of St. Louis, Missouri, Pat Fisk of McCrory and Betty Vest of Melbourne as well as 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
