Mary Elizabeth Ulmer, 85, of Kimberling City, Missouri, died Tuesday evening, November 25, 2008, at Ozark Community Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Mrs. Ulmer lived there until last year, when she moved to Kimberling City to be close to her family. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kimberling City Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Marion Ulmer, by her parents Blondie and Jesse Stinnett, and by her brother Bill Stinnett.
Mrs. Ulmer is survived by two brothers, Gordon Stinnett of Harrisburg, AR, and John Stinnett, of Jackson, Missouri. Also surviving her are one son, Jim Ulmer and wife Kay of Springdale, Arkansas; one daughter, Joy Wheeler and her husband Wayne of Kimberling City; and grandchildren Andy Wheeler and wife Amie, Grant Wheeler and wife Jen, Joel Ulmer and wife Stefanie, Jessica Ulmer, and Jill Ulmer; and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Emerson Funeral Home on Saturday, November 29, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with a private burial following, with David Gibson, minister of Valley View Church of Christ officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children Homes, Inc., 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR, 72450, or a favorite charity.
