Mary Louise Ritter

Mary Louise Ritter, 90, of Jonesboro, AR was reunited with many she loves in heaven on January 6, 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of her great love of and knowledge of growing things (which she learned from her parents) to her children and grandchildren. Like her mother, Mary would cook wonderful food and everyone who entered her home was fed well.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Schneider Sr. and mother, Eva Frangenberg Schneider, and two sisters Sister Beatrice Schneider and Sister Eileen Schneider and her dear daughter-in-law, Mary Maynard Ritter. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years Raymond F. Ritter, her siblings, Lawrence Schneider Jr., Jo Schneider, Paul Schneider, Virginia Roy, Terri Burnside, Albert Schneider, Herman Schneider, and Ruth Giddens and her five children and their wonderful spouses who are very much a part of the family: Gary Ritter (Pam), Rae Ann Fields (Jimmy), Chris Ritter (Tammy), Marty Ritter, and Laura Blocker (Bryan). She leaves a heritage of 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are by Emerson Funeral Home and visitation will be held there on Tuesday evening, Jan. 10. from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by a rosary from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 11. Pallbearers are Jimmy Fields, Bryan Blocker, Steve Ritter, Larry Ritter, Mark Schneider and Jared Blocker.
Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
