Mary Pyle Cook

Mary Pyle Cook, 85, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Mary was born in Jonesboro on January 16, 1932, to Edward and Gladys Finch and lived most of her life in the Jonesboro area. She was retired from General Electric in Jonesboro and loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

In her earlier years, Mary enjoyed bowling and fishing. She was an animal lover and took great care of her cats and dogs. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Pyle, 3 sisters, her first husband, James "Jim" Pyle, and her second husband, Lloyd Cook.

Survivors include 1 daughter and son-in-law: Jeannie and Bob Richards of Graford, Texas;
1 son and daughter-in-law: Jim and Becky Pyle of Jonesboro;
1 sister, Doris Sweat of Chicago;
1 brother and sister-in-law: Edward "Buddy" and Judy Finch of Chicago;
9 grandchildren,
6 great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends who loved her dearly.

All services will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
